Are
you insured by APRIL International Expat for
medical expenses? This newsletter takes you
through the procedures to follow to ensure your
claim is processed promptly if you are admitted
to hospital, wherever you are in the
world!
Going into hospital in the next
few weeks? How and when to contact us
If you are going into
hospital, you need our prior
agreement. To arrange this, please
contact us by calling: - from the USA
and Canada, (+1) 866 299 2900
(Freephone), - from other American
countries, (+1) 305 381 6977 (reverse
charge), - from countries in the
Asia-Pacific zone, +66 (0) 2
645 3336, - from other
countries, +33 (0) 1 73 02 93 99.
To ensure your hospital stay is
covered under your policy, you will be asked to
have your doctor fill in a form: the Confidential
Medical Certificate should be returned to us
5 days before your
admission. In the event of emergency
hospitalisation, you must contact us as
soon as possible.
We will then contact the hospital
and settle your bill for you; you’ll
have nothing to
pay! If you do not follow this
procedure: - an excess
of 20% will be deducted from your
reimbursement, - send us your hospital bill
along with all the supporting documents you have
by post to the following address: APRIL
International Expat, 110 avenue de la
République, CS 51108, 75127 Paris Cedex 11,
FRANCE.
The direct payment service for hospital
charges is not available if you have French
Social Security top-up cover.
You can also find out how to make
a claim under your policy by visiting our new YouTube
channel! |
